DO-PhD Student

Athanasios Kondilis

Athanasios is a DO/PhD candidate in the Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine and Cell and Molecular Biology respectively. He received bachelor’s degrees in psychology and molecular and cellular biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His current research involves using in-vivo DREADD and optogenetic mouse studies to investigate the role of the GHSR receptor in learned feeding behaviors. In his free time, Athanasios enjoys travelling, cooking, and wishing there was more free time.
